Artifact Name: Great Plains Center Steele Images Collection
Through my employment as an undergraduate and graduate student assistant I played a key role in the cataloging of the F.M. Steele photo collection. The item records demonstrate proficiency with original cataloging. Additionally the subject headings demonstrate my ability to predict what terms future users will search for these files under. During my time working on this project I not only added records to the catalog, but trained an undergraduate practicum student on how to assist with the project.

Artifact Name: PRIDE Library
People Respecting Individuality and Diversity in Education is the ESU campus student organization for the gender and sexual minority community. Over time they have acquired a collection of resources on sexual orientation and gender identity. During the summer of 2010 I helped them clean out the office, and discovered the variety of resources. In an effort to make these tools more readily available I cataloged them in a spreadsheet to turn the resources into a small library.
