One of best places to learn about transitioning, or taking steps to make your masculine self more visible is from those who have transitioned, or who are in the same process. The first two links are to communities who offer far more than tips and advice, they offer support, resources and encouragement to help your transition be the most beneficial for you. The last two resources are slightly darker, they provide an introduction to the challenges faced by those who identify as transgender, transsexual or another non-binary identity.

This welcoming forum, a sub-forum of Susan's Place is a setting for many male identified individuals gather to ask each other questions, request support,
vent about discrimination and direct each other to resources, either for transitioning or support.

This website serves as a place for transsexual and transgender individuals to locate each other. Its focus is on helping individuals locate a mentor to help
them with the transition process.
Transgender Day of Remembrance
Remembering those who have gone before is an important aspect of any community. Transgender Day of Remembrance, held November 20th,
remembers those who were murdered for their perceived gender expression. The website contains statistics and biographical information for the victims of transgender related
violence.

This survey, published in 2011, details the discrimination faced by transgender, transsexual and non-binary gendered individuals. While the statistics are stark they useful
for demonstrating the need for inclusive programming and training on issues facing the transgender community.
