Andrew's Background

I'm a library science graduate student. My Bachelor of Science is in both Information Resources Studies and Crime and Delinquency Studies and I frequently focus my class projects on issues surrounding the Gender and Sexual Minority community.

Also, as a transgender male, transsexual gyandromorph who was assigned to the female sex I understand the transition process personally. My transition occured over the Summer of 2011, though I am still working on parts of the process. Researching myself and my identities has been a passion of mine since the earliest days of coming out to myself.

I have presented on topics pertaining to my transition at two conferences in addition to multiple presentations at my university. Currently I volunteer as a presenter and researcher for the H.A.V.E.N. Program.
